Nigerian Plantain Masa meets Ghanian Tatale

Valerie Kadiri: Nigerian plantain Masa and Ghanian Tatale are very similar being that they are both made from over ripe plantains; the variation in the recipe comes from the types of spices used in Tatale, where masa basically contains plantains, eggs and flour; tatale is made by combining mashed plantains with various spices including ginger and chilli powder. Try both and let me know which you prefer, I am personally #TeamTatale.
