Strawberry Kiwi Granita

Valerie Kadiri | Food and Travel Ingredients Strawberries Kiwis’ (basically any fruit you like) 1/2 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you want it to be) A shot of vodka (optional) 1 cup of water Recipe Using a small sauce pan, add in the water and sugar and boil for 7-10 mins. Once it has been boiled, put it in the fridge to cool it down a bit Clean the strawberries and kiwis (ensure to remove seeds from the kiwis or any fruit being used) Put the clean fruits in the blender and blend until it is smooth. Note: If you are using orange, lemon, lime, you don’t need to blend you need to squeeze out the juice from the fruit. Add the sugar water and blend to ensure proper mixture, then add the vodka or any alcoholic beverage. Pour mixture into a large casserole dish or baking pan (any wide bowl may be used). Put the casserole pan into the freezer and freeze for an hour Use a fork to scrape/scatter the ice that has been formed after the first hour and put back into the freezer. the idea is to get it looking like sand/shaved ice, after it is completely frozen. Repeat the above process over and over until it is completely frozen. (Optional), you can leave it in the freezer without breaking it the first couple of hours, but that just makes it harder to break once it is completely formed I hope you love it
